Over the course of the week, the children will make various crafts, hear Bible lessons about Christ’s incarnation, crucifixion, and ascension, learn about children and ministry opportunities in Uganda, play games, and enjoy snacks and fellowship together. During our time from 9 to 11:30 AM, we will also learn Scripture verses from Philippians 2, sing songs, and watch fun skits put on by our youth volunteers. The week will conclude with a family dinner on Thursday evening where we will recap the week through stories and songs.
Please pray for our VBS ministry next week. Please pray for logistics, safety, and enjoyment as we spend time together. Also, please pray for the spiritual impact that we might make on the children. Psalm 145:4 states, “One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.” Pray that we are faithful ambassadors of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, faithfully commending the acts of God to the next generation. We pray that our children might grow up to be faithful stewards of the message of grace to sinners.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered and contributed to the ministry of Vacation Bible School this year. It takes many people to pull off such an involved program! We look forward to seeing many of you next week!
