Pastor’s Corner – Yakama Here We Come!

Dear Friends,
Last Sunday was a joyous celebration with a baptism and the Lord’s Supper. This made for a full service! Please pray for us.

  5. Chloe Kauffman
  6. Craig Martin
  7. Evan McClure
  8. Kara Beth McClure
  9. Kevin McClure
  10. Paige McClure
  11. Aly Mosier
  12. Kyle Mosier
  13. Leah Mosier
  14. Olivia Mosier
  15. Earl Wells

We look forward to reporting back to you later this month on our work.

In other exciting news, on August 1st, Cornerstone Presbyterian Church is set to close on our new church property located on Meridian Street. Praise God that all the final details have come together. Please continue to pray as we move toward the closing date. As of today, we will have to borrow some money to complete the purchase. It our prayer that by the end of the year, we will have enough money to pay off the property and own it out-right. At that point, the Session will consider next steps to move forward with planning and design on a building. Again, all very exciting but we must be in prayer!  “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1 ESV)

Your friend and pastor,

Preparation for Worship – July 15, 2018
  • This Sunday’s sermon: “God Is Our Refuge:  The Wonder of Creation”- Psalm 8
  • In preparation for the sermon:
“O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made,
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed:
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee:
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee:
How great Thou art! How great Thou art!”
